| Gaelscoil Dhroichead na Banndan is a Irish speaking school meeting the educational needs of both boys and girls in Bandon Town. The School is situated in the G.A.A. grounds to the southside of the town in purpose built rooms. Bunaíodh an Ghaelscoil sa bhliain 1995 agus táimid ag fás agus ag forbairt ó shin. The schools motto is 'Bí Lách agus Labhair Gaeilge linn'. Many extracurricular activities are encouraged within the Gaelscoil including football, hurling, swimming, drama, Irish dancing, music and I.T. |
| Presently, the Gaelscoil has 130 pupils with 8 teachers (6 mainstream, 1 shared Learning Support teacher and 1 Resource teacher). |
