St. Brogans College is a mixed secondary school providing a wide range of subjects from academic to the more practical subjects in a number of examinations, including applied leaving cert programmes. 

The current school building dates to 1980 and is situated on the Macroom road to the north of the river. The Original school dates from the 1930s.

The School is managed by Cork County VEC, has 560 pupils and 40 teachers. The school has strong links to Schering Plough and the Young Scientist Exhibitions.
